Road Signage Announcement

Earlier this year, the Rio Vista Hills HOA completed installation of street signs at all the intersections within RVH.  Feedback so far has been excellent, and it is believed these signs will assist visitors, contractors, delivery services and emergency services in finding their way around within RVH.

To further assist drivers in finding your residence, you may wish to check and make sure the address on your mailbox is complete in showing both your House Number and Street Name.  Having your complete address visible at the entrance to your driveway is important.  Also, a driver who is trying to find their way around the neighborhood, perhaps searching for an address different from yours, may find it helpful if they can learn the Street Name they are travelling on from your mailbox.

If you do not receive US Mail at your residence, you may wish to provide an appropriate sign displaying your full address.  To improve nighttime visibility, you may wish to consider use of reflective lettering.

The HOA Board believes having complete address information at each driveway entrance will be an improvement; however, this is offered only as a suggestion and is not in any way mandatory.

Traffic Advisory – 2/6 and 2/7/2020

On Thursday and Friday, February 6th and 7th, a small construction crew will be present in Rio Vista Hills digging post holes and planting posts for road signs.  Please be observant to the presence of these workers and use caution when driving near them.

Cactus Asphalt will be sweeping our roads this Saturday, January 11th, using powered sweeping equipment. Crews are expected to begin at 7 AM and continue to work throughout the day.

Please be on the lookout for maintenance crews and slow moving machinery on the roadway.

Upcoming Meetings for January 2020

We have two upcoming events in January 2020.

  • First, there will be a meeting of the HOA Board at 7 PM on Tuesday, January 7th at the Gerasim’s home. Since seating is very limited at this meeting. Please RSVP to Bill Owens (510-813-9792) if you wish to attend.
  • Second, the Rio Vista Hills HOA Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, January 27 and will start at 7 PM.  The meeting will be held in the Wickenburg Community Center small conference room as in past years. There is plenty of room for everyone.
    • You will be receiving a letter via US Mail in early January with the formal announcement and meeting Agenda.
    • Each year this meeting gives the Board the opportunity to discuss the major issues facing our community and also to present the updated RVH 10-year financial plan.  We very much hope you can attend this meeting.

The HOA Board wishes to alert all our residents that a landscape crew will be working this week to trim brush and trees along our roadways.
 
Please exercise extreme care and be alert for the presence of landscape workers and vehicles.  Please drive slowly in areas where workers are present.

The HOA Board wishes to alert all our residents that a landscape crew will be working at the entrance to Rio Vista Hills all day on Friday, March 22.

Please exercise extreme care when driving through the entrance area.
